WORKSHOP MEETING OF THE BOARD

The monthly meeting of the Board of the St. Louis County Library District was held at the Headquarters Branch, 1640 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis,  MO  63131 on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.  The agenda had been posted in all branches of the Library District at least 24 hours before the meeting.

ATTENDANCE:

            Library Board Members:

            Jean Weinstock, President

Dr. Lynn Beckwith, Vice President

Dr. Ching Ling Tai, Secretary

Mrs. Edith Cunnane, Member 

Kenneth Stricker had an excused absence.

            Others Attending:

Kristen Sorth, Manager, Human Resources and Mary Mosqueda, Representative from Lockton Companies.

The Library Board met to review a proposal from Lockton Companies presented by Mary Mosqueda.  Lockton is proposing that they assist the Library Board in developing a performance evaluation tool that would be used to evaluate the Library Director.  The Board will vote on this proposal at the September Board meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
