Descriptive Pamphlet (DP) for National Archives Microfilm Publication M2062

St. Louis County Library would like to acknowledge the cooperation and support of the National Archives' (NARA) staff.

The Special Collections' copy of this microfilm publication was purchased by the Julius K. Hunter and Friends African American Research Collection.

Arrangement of the M2062 DP
Besides excellent introductory material, this DP provides a table of contents for each of the 13 rolls of microfilm which allows the researcher to determine which roll of film will contain the files for a specific Alabama claimant. The records are arranged alphabetically by county, then within that county, alphabetically by name of claimant.
