Holy Ghost Cemetery 7153 Gravois St. Louis, Missouri In November of 1846 land was bought for the first German cemetery in St. Louis, located at Gravois Road three miles west of the courthouse and just east of Grand. It was commonly known as "Picker's Cemetery." The last burial was in 1902 and the remains were transferred to New Picker’s, which is now known as Gatewood Gardens Memorial Cemetery and is located at 7133 Gravois. There is now an online index for the records of Gatewood Gardens. Text in German and English.
