Digging for Family Roots: A Beginner's Guide to African American Genealogical Research

Mr. Hunter has written this new 30 page booklet  to help other researchers begin their African American research. He intends it as "...a starter kit for beginners who plan to have a little fun as they construct their family tree."  

Cost of the booklet is $2.00 and copies may be purchased: 

  1. In person - in the Special Collections Department which is located on Tier V of St. Louis County Library's Headquarters facility, 1640 So. Lindbergh Blvd, or at any St. Louis County Library Branch.
  2. By mail - print out a copy of the order form, complete all information, and mail with check or money order to Special Collections. Cost for mailed copies is $3.50 ($2.00 + $1.50 shipping).
