Immanuel Lutheran Church 1862- 214 West Fifth Street Washington, Missouri 63090 Franklin County "Its beginnings go back to the gatherings for Christian worship in private homes that led to the organizing, in 1844, of the 'German Protestant' church referred to before." -Immanuel Lutheran Thus the beginnings of Immanuel Lutheran were with a more general Protestant church in Washington that has since developed into St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
