Location Codes for Film and Fiche
The following are location codes used in the chart below.
  blue arrow  FILM
• "45" – A number by itself designates a microfilm set stored in a microfilm cabinet. Each cabinet drawer is marked with a red number. 
  Note: Drawer numbers followed by an asterisk (such as 213*) and highlighted in blue are located on Tier 4 by the newspaper films, one floor below Special Collections. They may be viewed either on Tier 4 or Tier 5.
• "Film shelf – #" – This location code indicates a microfilm set stored on a film shelf located in range 1A or 1B. Each film shelf is marked with a red number at the lower left side of the shelf.
  blue arrow  FICHE
• "B" – A letter by itself designates a source stored in a microfiche cabinet. Each drawer is marked with a red letter.
• Fiche Carousel – The microfiche carousel is located beside the microfiche reader that sits on the burgundy cabinet outside the glass workroom.
