St. Louis County Library Foundation and Delta Dental are pleased to welcome the elusive Lemony Snicket, literary sensation and the star and writer of the bestselling "A Series of Unfortunate Events." Mr. Snicket will discuss and sign his new book "File Under: 13 Suspicious Incidents."
The event will take place at Library Headquarters (1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.) on Saturday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. Purchase of the new book is required to enter the book signing (following the 7:00 p.m. talk). Mr. Snicket will sign one additional book per person either purchased at the event or brought from home. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
Books will be available for purchase from Left Bank Books. Event co-sponsor Delta Dental will provide pre-show entertainment starting at 6:00 p.m.
Paintings have been falling off of walls, a loud and loyal dog has gone missing, a specter has been seen walking the pier at midnight-strange things are happening all over the town of Stain'd-By-The-Sea. Called upon to investigate 13 suspicious incidents, young Lemony Snicket collects clues, questions witnesses and cracks every case. Join the investigation and tackle the mysteries alongside Snicket, then turn to the back of the book to see the solution revealed.
Lemony Snicket was somewhere else on the night in question, if anybody's asking. He is the suspicious author of all the books in the internationally bestselling "A Series of Unfortunate Events," "All The Wrong Questions," including "Who Could That Be at This Hour?" and "When Did You See Her Last?" and "The Dark."
One of SLCL's most popular annual programs, Family Read Night encourages families to join us in a celebration of reading. The program is generously sponsored by Delta Dental.
