SLCL carries several different versions of this books-into-TV series. No matter which actress plays her, Miss Marple is always pretending to be a bird-witted old lady, when in fact there's a very sharp mind behind the white hair and the knitting.

Sherlock, Season One
This very popular modern update to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's well-known detective Sherlock Holmes has just finished its second season on BBC. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, who is also the star of the upcoming J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit."

Case Histories
These six episodes star Jason Isaacs as troubled Private Investigator Jackson Brodie, who helps those he can, gets into trouble, does his best to be a good father, and negotiates a love life.

Foyle's War
Set during World War II, Police Inspector Foyle does his best to keep things safe on the southern coast of England, foiling espionage and finding murderers.  A must for those who love history and a solid cast.

Pie in the Sky
