Black History Month: Girl Like Us

Date:
2/2/13, 9:30am - 12:30pm

Today many minority girls (and boys) have trouble with self-image. Come explore how teens of color view themselves and learn how the media has shaped those views. This session will help change the negative into a positive. At the end of this session the teens will have a totally different self-view of themselves. Light refreshments. Presented by Amy Hunter, Director Racial Justice YWCA, Metro St. Louis. For teens and adults.
