Bully Prevention Program at County Library Branch

The Thornhill Branch of the St. Louis County Library will offer a bully prevention program for parents and kids on Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. The Thornhill Branch is located at 12863 Willowyck Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146. The program is free and open to kids ages 4-12 and their parents. Registration is required; sign up by calling 314-994-3300 or online at www.slcl.org/events.

The Bully Prevention program will be led by an instructor from ATA Martial Arts. Each instructor is a trained by the American Taekwondo Association International Headquarters in anti-bullying and self- defense techniques. Participants will learn how to defend against bullying through interactive drills which rely on "observe and report." The drills depict realistic bullying scenarios and the proper ways to react using confidence and leadership.
