The Thornhill Branch of St. Louis County Library will sponsor a Chocolate Cook-off contest to determine the most delicious and irresistible homemade chocolate creation in town. Adults ages 18 and over are eligible to submit one recipe for consideration as the "most deserving dish." First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. Recipe forms can be picked up from January 23 through February 6 at the Thornhill Branch, 12863 Willowyck Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146. The completed entry form and food item must be delivered to Thornhill between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8. Judging will take place between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. A Chocolate Cook-off reception will begin 7:00 p.m. to announce the winners and to share samples of the entries.
There is no entry fee for the contest, and the public is invited to attend the awards program to sample the entries and meet the cooks. A full set of rules, in addition to entry forms, can be obtained at the Thornhill Branch.
