St. Louis County Library will host a program on the owls of Forest Park with naturalist Mark Glenshaw on Monday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public and will take place at Library Headquarters, located at 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd in Ladue.
Mark Glenshaw is an award-winning, amateur naturalist who has closely observed and documented the lives of a mated pair of Great Horned Owls in Forest Park since December 2005. Mark's talk will cover how he found the owls, basic facts about the species, and Great Horned Owl behaviors such as hunting, mating, nesting and rearing of young. Presentation will include photos and videos and time for Q&A.
