Iced Tea and the St. Louis Connection

Is it fact or myth that iced tea was invented at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair? Come to a program entitled "Iced Tea and the St. Louis Connection" on Thursday, June 7, 3:00 p.m. at the Rock Road Branch of St. Louis County Library, 10267 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. Reference Specialist Ruth Ann Hager will discuss the 1904 World's Fair and its relevance in the history of food and drink. Registration is required by calling 314-994-3300.

June is National Iced Tea Month, so there's no better time to discuss refreshing drinks and delectable treats. Different varieties of iced tea will be served at the program which is free and open to the public.
