"Love, Anthony" by Lisa Genova details the lives of two women living on Nantucket Island. One, the mother of a young boy with Autism who passed away suddenly, another a wife questioning examines her marriage. The author does a nice job describing this tiny Massachusetts haven and giving readers a feel for the setting.The strength of the story is in how their their lives intertwine, as one mourns the death of her son and questions the purpose of his short life while another seeks to find herself
after her husbands infidelity. Their search for change and happiness brings them together in a divine and meaningful way and shines light on the role of unconditional love in both marital and parent-child relationships.
