St. Louis County Library, the University of Missouri Extension, and the Small Business & Technology Development Centers are pleased to invite you to a lecture series to provide information and valuable resources to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and those who are thinking about starting a business.
All programs will be held in the Auditorium at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters at 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The May lecture topic will be "Starting a Business in Missouri"
This three-hour session will provide you with an overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business. It is designed specifically for those who are thinking about a new business venture. Participants will assess their strengths and weaknesses in terms of business ownership, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements and identify sources of funding.
These sessions are designed to be interactive workshops including practical exercises and course materials. Each session will begin with morning refreshments and networking period from 8:30-9 am with the workshop starting at 9 am.
