Most Popular CDS of 2011

In the spirit of those "Best of" lists that pop up during this time of year, I thought readers might be interested to know the ten highest circulating CDs of 2011 by St. Louis County Library customers. There's four "Now That's What I Call Music!" compilations, three bands (Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas and Lady Antebellum), but it's the female artists who take the top three: Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" and the indelible Adele with her record breaking "21" in the number one spot. Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" was the highest circulating CD in 2010. Sheryl Crow's "100 Miles from Memphis" was in the top ten in '10.
