St. Louis County Library will offer a free program for new parents on Tuesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Attendees are encouraged to bring their newborns (ages 0-3 months) for an introduction to library services. Staff will help parents register for a library card and will provide information on a variety of early literacy resources offered at SLCL, including lap time programs, Baby Summer Reading Club, as well as the library's online tools. Parents will also have the opportunity to create a high contrast board book to take home and share with their little one.
The program is free, but registration is required by calling 314-994-3300 or online at www.slcl.org/events.
