New Romances for a New Year

The tenth book in Ms. Adrian's Midnight Breed series tells the story of Sterling Chase. Chase is a character that has shown up several times in previous books, most notably in "Midnight Awakening," where he gets his heart broken by the heroine and joins the Breed warriors. I know I'm looking forward to seeing him meet his match, as well as the next step in the war against the villainous vampire Dragos.

If you like Ms. Krentz but want something a bit different, consider reading this paranormal romance. It's the first in a new series, entitled "Dark Legacy," and promises more of what we've all come to love from Ms. Krentz, both passion and danger.

I have been eagerly awaiting the third book in the Cynster Sister series primarily because in the two previous books we've become more and more acquainted with the mysterious abductor of the first two sisters. That Ms. Laurens has already informed us of the headstrong and independent spirit of the third sister hasn't dimmed my anticipation of the inevitable conflict between the two protagonists one whit.

Janet Evanovich, "Love in a Nutshell"
A new stand-alone romance from Ms. Evanovich doesn't come along that often, so grab it while it's hot! Her intuitive sense of comedy and her skill in matching up her protagonists to a tee make her a well-known and well-loved addition to the stacks.
