SLCL & Magic House Ask Kids to Create Fairy Tale Book Covers

Creative kids are invited to help St. Louis County Library and the Magic House celebrate a new exhibit by designing their own book cover based on a classic fairy tale. Once Upon a Time...Exploring the World of Fairy Tales opens at the Magic House on June 8. Kids who create a book cover will receive a free admission to the exhibit at the Magic House, which ends September 22. Submissions may be made at any branch of St. Louis County Library from June 15 to July 15. Kids age 6-11 are encouraged to enter. There is no entry fee.
 
Create artwork for an original book cover for one of the following fairy tales:
 
Anansi and the Talking Melon
Beauty and the Beast
Cinderella
The Elves and the Shoemaker
Jack and the Beanstalk
Lon Po Po
Thumbelina
 
Submitted book covers may be featured in the new exhibit. Limit one submission per person. Submissions must be two-dimensional. Submissions must be 8.5" x 11." Please do not write full name on front of submission. Use only first name, last initial and age.
 
Submissions will become property of The Magic House and will not be returned. Entrants will receive one free child's admission to The Magic House.
