The St. Louis County Library Foundation will hold its annual Starcatchers Gala on Saturday, September 21, at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Tickets for the event are $200 per person. Proceeds will fund childhood literacy and development programming.
The gala begins with a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 7:00 p.m. Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers will conduct an oral auction. KSDK NewChannel 5 anchor Art Holliday will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Bestselling suspense author Lisa Scottoline will provide the post-dinner entertainment.
Two awards will be presented as part of the evening's festivities. The Starcatcher's Award will be awarded to a business or individual dedicated to bettering the library. The Foundation will also present the Sidney Johnson Learning Award for outstanding library service by a teen.
