The St. Louis County Library Foundation Reading Garden Event Series and KETC Channel 9 are pleased to present a free family concert with PBS Kids' musical host Mr. Steve. Mr. Steve will share interactive, original songs and stories on Friday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The program is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Copies of Mr. Steve's CDs and DVDs will be available for purchase and signing.
This is Mr. Steve's third visit to St. Louis County Library. In previous visits, Mr. Steve's young fans have filled the library with energy, song, and friendship as they dance and sing along with the lovable musical host of PBS Kids. Mr. Steve has been writing and performing his award-winning music for children and families for the past ten years. In May 2008, he began hosting PBS Kids, where he reaches an audience of millions. His songs, with their clever stories and catchy melodies, engage and entertain kids.
Mr. Steve has performed nationwide at venues including the White House, the Kennedy Center, Symphony Space in New York City, and Fenway Park in Boston. He has attracted fans from coast to coast and numerous awards, including two Parents' Choice Gold Awards.
St. Louis County Library Foundation's Reading Garden Event Series hosts free family events with authors and musicians. Sponsors include Commerce Bank and Companion.
