"Getting Ready for the 1940 Census": Researchers are anxiously awaiting the April 2 release of the 1940 Census. The National Archives, Ancestry.com, and other web sites plan to make the images available at no charge, but no indexing can be done until after the release date. This presentation will show researchers simple steps they can take--today or any time before the release date--to find family members in these records. "Genetic Genealogy": DNA testing, what is it? How is it done? What will you learn, and what will you not learn? We will explore these and other DNA-related topics during this lecture.
