Whether you have a large garden plot or just a few pots on the patio, you can get a jump on the gardening season by starting seeds inside. If you've never done it before, starting seedlings inside is easy and inexpensive. And the Library is here to help you do it! We have a massive collection of books to aid you in all of your gardening endeavors.
"The Frugal Gardener" has a great section on how to start seeds indoors for very little cost. "3 step vegetable gardening" is another great resource to get you started. A more advanced book on gardening and starting seeds is "The Garden Primer" which explains multiple methods of starting seeds indoors. And if you are really serious about seeds, "Seed to Seed" will explain how to best save seeds at the end of the growing cycle. These are just a few titles the Library holds in its vast collection. Come visit your local branch and peruse the 635s (Dewey Decimal call number) for all your gardening information needs.
