On January 3, 1972, the Weber Road Branch opened to the public with a collection of 40,000 books, a variety of audio-visual items, and a well-stocked reference room. The enthusiastic reception received from the South County community continues today. Service is offered to a diverse range of customers from the Affton, Bella Villa, Lemay, Saint George, and Wilbur Park neighborhoods. A wide array of programs for all age levels, a computer lab, and meeting room space are a few of the many amenities offered at the Weber Road Branch.
