When Creativity Kills

The only kind of book I enjoy more than a cozy mystery is a cozy crafting mystery. In Lois Winston's "Assault with a Deadly Glue Gun," Anastasia Pollack, the crafts editor of a women's magazine, is in the hot seat after a disliked co-worker is found murdered in Anastasia's office. The murder weapon, her trusty hot glue gun.

Already dealing with a mountain of debt (left to her when her gambling addicted husband passed away in Las Vegas), two teenage boys to care for, a mother and mother-in-law with nowhere else to go, a loan shark looking for his money, and the police looking at her as suspect number one, Anastasia has to be crafty and find the killer before it's too late.

This book is loaded with quirky characters that kept me involved.  Anyone who's interested in the Stephanie Plum or Kiki Lowenstein series would really enjoy this book.  For more books by this author checkout www.loiswinston.com and don't forget to check out Anastasia's Killer Crafts and Crafty Killers blog at www.anastasiapollack.blogspot.com.
