For Youth By Youth: Discrimination in Schools

This three hour workshop will give high school aged students the opportunity to have a frank conversation about issues of discrimination in their schools. Students will explore what discrimination is, how it manifests and what they can do to interrupt it when they see it happening in their school environment. Following the workshop a panel of students from NCCJSTL, Focus St. Louis, DAP, YWCA and Cultural Leadership will speak to their first hand experience with discrimination and how the addressed it. Facilitated by members of NCCJSTL's ALLY program. Ages 14-18.
