The St. Louis County Library now has digital magazines through Zinio. SLCL cardholders can access 150 popular magazine titles including National Geographic, Us Weekly, Newsweek and Cosmopolitan. Magazines can be downloaded to most tablets, computers and smartphones. Click on the "eMagazines" tab to access the collection. Complete instructionscan be found under the "Ask Us" tab. 

On June 10th, the St. Louis County Library Zinio landing page will look a little different. Instead of the sign in page, the RB Digital Gateway will display. You can click on the Learn More link to get information about the service and view SLCL's Zinio magazine titles before creating an account. OverDrive will release an updated version of the OverDrive Media Console mobile app for iOS and Android (v2.6.5) on Tuesday, May 29. In addition to the typical enhancements, Apple users will be required to reauthorize their Adobe ID.

Overdrive rolled out a couple of updates to its website this morning:

Update from OverDrive:

"We just released the OverDrive Media Console mobile app for iOS v2.6.4 which now displays the Next Generation website. Users will need to update their app in order to see the new site."

The OverDrive instruction sheets (with the exception of the iPad/iPhone) have been updated to reflect the new OverDrive site. I will be updating the iPhone/iPad instructions shortly. You can find the instructions under the 'Ask Us' tab. 

OverDrive has notified us that some patrons received premature hold notification emails due to a glitch in their system. They have resolved the issue. If you were notified that your hold is ready to pick up but you are still on the waiting list, you will receive another notification when the title is actually available for check out....
