Overdrive rolled out a couple of updates to its website this morning:

New eVideos have been recently added to the OverDrive collection and are available to check out for a maximum of 14 days.  These videos can be played on any Windows computer and can be transfered to some Sony Walkman MP3 players.  I recently checked...

Update from OverDrive:

"We just released the OverDrive Media Console mobile app for iOS v2.6.4 which now displays the Next Generation website. Users will need to update their app in order to see the new site."

The OverDrive instruction sheets (with the exception of the iPad/iPhone) have been updated to reflect the new OverDrive site. I will be updating the iPhone/iPad instructions shortly. You can find the instructions under the 'Ask Us' tab. 

OverDrive has notified us that some patrons received premature hold notification emails due to a glitch in their system. They have resolved the issue. If you were notified that your hold is ready to pick up but you are still on the waiting list, you will receive another notification when the title is actually available for check out....

Now that the new OverDrive site has launched one-click checkout, the first thing you need to do when visiting the site is set your lending periods. With one-step checkout you won't have the option to change your lending period before check out. One click on the Borrow button and the title is checked out to you. 

To set your lending periods, click on Account, enter your library card number...
