Provides detailed demographic, economic, and social information on countries of the world. Data also includes flags and maps.
Country Studies
The Country Studies Series, originally published in paper, is now accessible online. Information includes: description and analysis of the country's historical setting, and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries around the world.
Embassies and Consulates (U.S.) - Worldwide
Provides listings for U.S. Embassies, Consulates, and Diplomatic Missions.
export.gov - U.S. Government Export Portal
Provides information on industry and country-specific market reports, web sites, events, export programs and counseling assistance focusing on exporters of agricultural goods and commodities.
International Statistical Agencies

What distinguishes this site from other travel information is its breakdown by type of citizen traveling information.
