Now Hear This!
Most people know what sound is, but how does sound work? You’ll hear singing goblets, screaming metal rods and find out if we can figure out a way to see sound.
Creepy Chemistry!
This series of spooky experiments will definitely get ooohs and ahhs. We’ll explore a variety of chemistry experiments including dry ice bubbles, bleeding paper and rapid decomposition. We’ll end it all with a VERY loud bang! TF

Back to the Beach Party

Bingo by Design
Bingo can be traced back to Italy in 1530. There are all kinds of bingo including gala bingo, foxy bingo and mecca bingo to name a few.  Come make a bingo card and, of course, use the cards you make so someone can shout “Bingo!” For ages 5–12. Blake Travis

Books to Movies: “Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh” and “The Secret of Nimh”
Having no one to help her with her problems, a widowed mouse visits the rats whose former imprisonment in a laboratory made them wise. Read the book “Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh” and then join us for the movie. Afterwards we will have a short discussion about the story and compare the two versions. Box Day
Children will explore and use their imaginations. We will share wonderful children’s “box” books. The sky is the limit as we sit in, crawl through, and open and close boxes. Let’s Get Creative with Dino O’Dell & the Veloci-Rappers
This interactive musical journey features Creative Pizza Toppings, Swimming in Peanut Butter and Space Aliens. Dino’s shows engage children through singing, dancing, fill-in-the blank lyric writing, finger plays and counting songs. There is even a number where the kids join the band. It’s fun for all ages and is especially geared for 3–10 year olds.

North St. Louis County Dog Obedience Training Club

Meet “Tom and Huck” with the Alpha Players
Students will use their imaginations and physicality to recreate the story of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, while learning the basic elements of theatre. The “Wright” Entertainment
Come and enjoy the puppet show, “Reuben, the Jealous Lion,” an original story by Jackie and Papa Wright. Elephant and Reuben are very good friends. It is Elephant’s birthday and some of his other friends plan to sing and play musical instruments at his birthday party.
