Mad Science

Our Jr. Mad Scientist is out looking for the Secret Book of Mad Science Experiments, but what he finds is even better. He begins a journey when he finds himself in the story, not just reading it. He (with the help of the audience) will make many scientific choices that will affect the outcome of the story. In the end, he finds his way back home.

Special Story Time: Black Music Celebration

Join Felix the Storyteller for a lively celebration of June’s Black Music Month. Felix mixes traditional stories with music and puppets. The “Wright” Entertainment

Come and enjoy the puppet show, “Reuben, the Jealous Lion,” an original story by Jackie and Papa Wright. Elephant and Reuben are very good friends. It is Elephant’s birthday and some of his other friends plan to sing and play musical instruments at his birthday party. Reuben becomes jealous and tries to spoil the party, but soon discovers that he has no reason to be jealous.

Blake Travis

Nationally known storyteller Blake Travis mesmerizes children with his voice, mannerisms, and his use of percussion instruments. He regularly brings children up to participate in the telling of the story as they cling to his every word.
