How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Bridgeton Trails Branch

If your cooking skills are limited to cold cereal and pbj sandwiches, this class is for you.
Learn to cook a tasty and delicious meal from scratch with the help of Operation Food Search. Test your knife skills, learn how to properly read a recipe, and acquire other useful kitchen skills to help you become a confident cook.
Grades 6-12. Registration is required.

Join us in the auditorium for a scary-awesome Halloween party. There will be a spooky movie, snacks, face-painting, and more. You'll have a ghastly good time! Costumes encouraged. Grades 6-12. Registration required.

Thornhill Branch

Cooperate and dominate your fellow teens on the PS3, Xbox 360, Kinect and Wii. There is safety in numbers so feel free to bring friends. All games are rated Teen and under. Ages 12-18. Auditorium

Meramec Valley Branch

We will take apart a variety of everyday items, and by the end of the workshop, we will have created our own simple electronic devices. Presented by Freedom Arts and Education Center. Ages 11-14. Registration required.
