How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

We will take apart a variety of everyday items, and by the end of the workshop, we will have created our own simple electronic devices. Presented by Freedom Arts and Education Center. Ages 11-14. Registration required.

Come play Minecraft on our Library server. Beginners welcome, no Minecraft subscription required. Try your hand at the game that's sweeping the country. Registration required. Ages 8-18.

Enjoy the company of fellow needle workers and bring any handwork you enjoy doing. Lessons given for those who want to learn how to knit and crochet. All Ages. Registration requested.

Get your game on! This monthly program features video games for Wii and XBOX 360 consoles as well as classic board games. All skill levels welcome. Ages 10-18.

The library has great stories, but you can bet that your family does, too! Grab a family member from an older generation and bring them in to practice your interview skills. Afterward, we'll introduce you to The Grannie Annie story collection and tell you how to submit your family story for publication. Ages 9-14.
