How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Lewis and Clark Branch

Come and enjoy the company of other needle crafters, and finish projects you would never finish, and try out some new styles. Crochet, knitting, sewing, needlepoint, embroidery and more, all welcome. Ages 12 and up.

Monday, November 10, 2014 - 4:00pm
Daniel Boone Branch

You will be taught how to make a pieced nine patch quilt block useful as a hot dish mat. All supplies furnished. No experience required. Bring your own fabric scissors.
Ages 15-adult. Registration required.

Natural Bridge Branch

Create a mini piece of art to wear or share with friends. We'll use online software to design the button, so feel free to bring your own digital pictures. Supplies and button machine provided. Grades 6-12. Registration required.

Make bananas into bongos, celery into a piano, or gummi worms into a game controller. Makey Makeys can turn anything into keys for your computer! Have fun trying out this invention kit for the 21st century. Grades 6-12. Registration is required. Room 2.
