How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Saturday, November 1, 2014 - 1:00pm
Oak Bend Branch

Join us at the Oak Bend Branch as we help you prepare for the SAT or ACT college entrance exam. Adult and teen volunteers will be on hand to teach you test-taking skills and more. You may also bring your own SAT/ACT problems that we will find the best way to solve them. Grades 7-12. Registration required.

Come, enjoy the company of other needle crafters, and finish projects you would never finish. Registration required for beginners. Please ask at the desk. Ages 12 and up.

Meet fellow craft enthusiasts and work on personal projects at the same time. This is also an opportunity to work on larger shared projects to support local charities like Warm Up America. Crafters of all ages, abilities and skill levels welcome.

Get involved at your library and earn community service hours by joining the Teen Advisory Group. TAG gives teens an opportunity to voice what materials and programs they want at the library.
