How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Tesson Ferry Branch

Come and play Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh with other gamers. Drawings for door prize booster packs. Must bring your own deck. Ages 12 and up. Auditorium. Groups, please contact hosting branch for registration and to inquire about space availability for all summer programs.

Oak Bend Branch

Join us at the Oak Bend Branch as we help you prepare for the SAT or ACT college entrance exam. Adult and teen volunteers will be on hand to teach you test-taking skills and more. You may also bring your own SAT/ACT problems and we will find the best way to solve them. Grades 7-12. Registration required.

Learn how to create a mural from concept to creation. Work collaboratively to create a wall installation on 4x4 foot plywood panels to produce a unique piece of art. Presented by Freedom Arts and Education Center. Ages 10-15. Registration required.
