How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Do you have a great story to tell? Looking for the skills to express yourself in front an audience? This month long storytelling workshop leading up to the St. Louis Storytelling Festival is the perfect opportunity to hone your storytelling skills. We will be working to turn personal experiences into entertaining narratives during four classes throughout the month. The workshop will conclude in a final performance of participant's completed stories. Featuring presentations by professional St. Louis area storytellers Flavia Everman and Rosemary Wilson. Flavia Everman has been storytelling for 15 years as member of Riverwinds and Gateway Storytellers and performed in the St. Louis Storytelling Festival for the past 3 years, where she is currently in charge of the Festival Youth Program.
Rosemary Wilson has been a professional storyteller in the St. Louis area since 1999. Her audiences have included children and adults in a variety of settings.
