How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Tesson Ferry Branch

Answer the questions and follow the clues to solve the puzzle. Bring your friends and work in groups of 2 or 3.
Ages 12-18. Registration required. Auditorium.

Thornhill Branch

Bring your chessboard and enjoy playing chess with others at the Thornhill Branch. The chess club will meet the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Ages 8-Adult.

Learn with hands on activities and demonstrations the process that goes into designing for the stage. Be a designer for a show and use materials to be able to build a model set. Ages 10-15. Registration required.

Join Operation Food Search to make some delicious Holiday treats. Sample new dishes and take recipes to try at home. Ages 12 and up. Registration is required.

You will be taught how to make a pieced nine patch quilt block useful as a hot dish mat. All supplies furnished. No experience required. Bring your own fabric scissors.
