How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

See books brought to life on the big screen. Join other teens after hours to watch movies and munch popcorn. This month's film is "The Book Thief" based on the book by Marcus Zusak. While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel is sheltered by adoptive parents. She finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others, including a Jewish refugee.
MPAA rating: PG-13. Running time: 131 min.
