Want to help plan teen Library programs? Then join Daniel Boone Teen Advisory Group (TAG) where you can earn volunteer hours, help test teen programs, share your opinions and ideas, and make new friends. Ages 12-18. TAG meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Attend this free six-week workshop to learn computer skills like word processing, internet safety and basic programming using Scratch software. The courses are designed for 4th-8th grade students. In order to complete the course and earn a free computer, KIDS MUST ATTEND EVERY CLASS. Upon graduation students will receive a computer, monitor and peripherals (Keyboard, mouse), audio speakers and a 4GB flash drive.

Chess is one of the oldest and most complex games of all time. It's a fascinating game of reason and logic, where you win by out-thinking, out-planning, and out-smarting your opponent. Bring your chess board and enjoy playing chess with others at the Thornhill Branch. The chess club will meet the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Ages 8-Adult.
Interested in volunteering at the Sachs Branch over the summer? We are looking for a group of teens to assist with the summer reading club, various programs and other duties. You will need to complete a volunteer application before signing up for one of the mandatory training sessions which will provide you with the knowledge to become an all-star volunteer. Going into grades 7-12. Registration required.
