How It Works:

1. Sign up for the teen summer reading club starting May 12 at your local branch.

2. Keep track of your reading online or pick up a log sheet at any SLCL location. Books, magazines, graphic novels and audiobooks all count!

3. When you complete a level, visit a branch to collect your reward. 

The summer reading club ends Saturday, August 2. Prizes must be redeemed by Saturday, August 9.

Join Kathy Bernard, a career coach, in this two part workshop. This session will be a mock interview, so come dressed to impress and ready to get that dream job!

From the jazz of Miles Davis, the rock 'n roll of Chuck Berry, the blues of Albert King, to the hip-hop of Nelly, St. Louis has birthed and raised several major musicians in African American culture.This workshop combines music and history in a relevant context to trace the lives and legends of some of the most influential African American musicians from St. Louis. We will discuss their music and their myths and listen to their most popular and lesser-known works.
