St. Louis County Library’s Favorite Author Series presents #1 bestselling political thriller writer Steve Berry for a discussion and signing of “The Atlas Maneuver,” a new international thriller starring bookseller and intelligence agent Cotton Malone. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Branch, 300 Clarkson Rd., Ellisville, MO 63011. St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Favorite Author Series and The Novel Neighbor present acclaimed novelist Yangsze Choo for a discussion and signing of her new novel “The Fox Wife.” The event will take place on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch, 9700 Musick Rd., St. Louis MO, 63123.

St. Louis County Library’s Black History Celebration is pleased to host a special event with NPR Weekend Edition Sunday host Ayesha Rascoe, editor of “HBCU Made: A Celebration of the Black College Experience.” The event will take place on Thursday, February 8, 7:00 p.m. at the Ethical Society of St. Louis, 9001 Clayton Rd, St. Louis MO 63117. Ayesha Rascoe will be in conversation with St. Louis Public Radio reporter Marissanne Lewis-Thompson.

St. Louis County Library will host a Black History Celebration in February. The theme for 2024 is “African American Arts: Inspiring, Impacting, and Influencing Every Generation.” Programs include a keynote event with MSNBC host Joy-Ann Reid, Hollywood legend Billy Dee Williams, WNBA star A’ja Wilson, performances by the Black Rep, a jazz concert, a gospel celebration, author events, dance workshops, and more.
