| Tuesday, June 2 | SING | Make a shaker by filling a plastic bottle with rice or beans. Shake and sing to your favorite song! |
| Wednesday, June 3 | WRITE | Draw of scribble with chalk on the sidewalk or on a piece of construction paper. |
| Thursday, June 4 | PLAY | Paint over your chalk drawing form yesterday with water. What happens to the chalk when you paint it? |
| Friday, June 5 | READ | Gather several books and talk about which you would like to read first, second, etc. |
| Saturday, June 6 | TALK | Look in a mirror while making a variety of facial expressions. Talk about how someone making each face might feel. |
| Sunday, June 7 | SING | Sing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" with new animals. What did the zebra say? |
| Monday, June 8 | WRITE | Make a clothespin game and pretend to pick up pipe cleaner worms with clothespin birds. |
| Tuesday, June 9 | PLAY | Use stuffed animals as puppets and put on a puppet show. |
| Wednesday, June 10 | READ | Emphasize letter sounds today. Would you like a b-b-banana? banana begins with the letter B! |
| Thursday, June 11 | TALK | Ask your child a question that requires a choice. Do you want an apple or a banana with lunch? |
| Friday, June 12 | SING | Sing "Apples and Bananas" with Gracie's Corner. |
| Saturday, June 13 | WRITE | Write the letters of your name with glue. Cover the glue letters with popsicle sticks, pom poms or small scraps of paper. |
| Sunday, June 14 | PLAY | Drape a sheet over furniture to make a tent for pretend camping. Grab a blanket, books and snacks for an indoor campfire story time. |
| Monday, June 15 | READ | Read a story about camping like "Campingland" by Ame Dyckman. |
| Tuesday, June 16 | TALK | Talk about the places you could go on a camping trip. Would like to visit a beach or a forest? |

| Saturday, June 20 | READ | Point out store signs and ask your child what they mean. Recognizing symbols is one of the first kinds of reading. |

| Monday, June 22 | TALK | Play a rhyming game! What words can you think of that rhyme with cat? |
| Tuesday, June 23 | WRITE | Use your hands to make shadow puppets. Talk and sing as you move your fingers up and down. |
| Wednesday, June 24 | PLAY | Create a tunnel with your legs for your little one to crawl through. "Catch" them by squeezing your legs together as they pass through. |
| Thursday, June 25 | READ | Make a family photo book. Print photos of your family, attach them to sheets of paper and tape the papers together. Write everyone's name by their photo and read your own story. |
| Friday, June 26 | TALK | Count the number of steps in a staircase while going up or down a flight of stairs. |
| Saturday, June 27 | SING | Visit the library and check out a book you can sing. Look in nonfiction under J782.42 for lots of choices. |
| Sunday, June 28 | WRITE | Pick up cooked spaghetti for some sensory play fun. Practice a pincer grasp using your index finger and thumb. |
| Monday, June 29 | PLAY | Take tummy time outside to feel the grass. Big kids, get some fun sensory input by rolling down a grassy hill. |
| Tuesday, June 30 | READ | Happy birthday, Petr Horacek! Read "A Best Friend for Bear" or another one of their stories. |
