Book Buddies

Book BuddiesBook Buddies pairs teens and kids with the goal of improving kids’ confidence in their reading skills. Students in grades K-3 practice reading one-on-one with a trained teen volunteer. Each young reader is matched with a teen and spends 30 minutes a week reading aloud during the 6-week series. Parents must remain in the library during the program. A limited number of students will be able to participate.

Applications will be accepted starting January 28, 2019.
