GED Classes Now Offered at Rock Road

The Rock Road Branch of St. Louis County Library will begin free GED classes on Monday, August 19 for those seeking a high school equivalency certificate. This new program is open to anyone no longer in high school and will be taught by instructors from the Ritenour Adult Learning Center. The branch is located at 10267 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. To register for the classes or for more details, call the Adult Learning Center at 314-426-7900.
GED students must be at least 17-years-old. Those who are 16-years-old may enroll if they have 16 high school credits and documentation from the most recent school attended. A mandatory orientation session will be held at the Ritenour Adult Learning Center, 8762 St Charles Rock Rd, St Louis, MO 63114.  
The GED classes will be held in the branch’s auditorium on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Students who enroll in the library class will be expected to attend class on both Monday and Wednesday each week. All of the program operations will be explained during the orientation.

Estas clases gratuitas, impartidas por personal de Ritenour, ayudan a los estudiantes adultos a obtener las habilidades necesarias para obtener un certificado de equivalencia de escuela secundaria, (GED). Los estudiantes deben estar por lo menos  de 17 años o 16 años de edad con 16 créditos y no asistir a la secundaria. Los estudiantes deben presentar la documentación de la escuela anterior y asistir a una orientación obligatoria. Las clases se celebrará en la sala de reuniones en  Rock Road, (Rock Road Meeting Room.)
