SLCL Foundation Presents An Onstage Interview with Ridley Pearson

The St. Louis County Library Foundation is pleased to present a special event with St. Louis author and “Peter and the Starcatchers” co-creator Ridley Pearson. Pearson will discuss the process of adapting his acclaimed series for young readers into a Tony Award-winning Broadway production. The event will take place on Monday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from Left Bank Books.
The event is co-sponsored by Maryville University.  
St. Louis author Ridley Pearson is the author of over 30 internationally bestselling crime novels for adults and 15 adventure novels for young readers. Along with co-author Dave Barry, Pearson is the creator of the hugely popular “Peter and the Starcatchers” series, a prequel to J.M. Barrie’s classic “Peter Pan,” “Peter and the Starcatchers” tells the story of how Peter arrived in the magical world of Neverland. The Broadway adaptation opened to rave reviews in 2012 and received five Tony awards.
In celebration of the “Peter and the Starcatcher” St. Louis debut at the Peabody Opera House (March 7-9), Pearson will sit down for an onstage interview with KMOX’s Mark Reardon to discuss the process of adapting his hit series for Broadway.
