St. Louis Count Library Presents Black Music Month: The Power of Song

The sounds of music will be in every corner of the Florissant Valley Branch of St. Louis County Library as the library celebrates Black Music Month with a special after hours concert on Friday, June 13. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and features three of St. Louis’ most energizing music groups and performers. The concert is free and open to the public. Florissant Valley Branch is located at 195 New Florissant Road South, Florissant, Mo. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The performers will be Olivia Neal, Solid Ground, and The Bible Tones. Olivia Neal is making her first appearance at the library. Solid Ground performed during the library’s House of Jazz program most recently in 2011. The Bible Tones took part in the library’s Gift of Gospel program in 2013.

Light refreshments will be served. All ages welcome.
