Fall Into Fitness: Walking Challenge

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Explore your favorite walking path or try a hike in the area. Pick up a log curbside at any branch starting October 1 and return it by November 15. Prizes will be awarded to those who accumulate the most miles. Adults and teens.

Virtual Program: Super Stolie's Halloween Daydream

6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You're invited on a musical Halloween adventure with songs about candy, a not-so-spooky ghost story and all the fun things that go along with one of our favorite holidays! This virtual program will be available on the library's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/STLCoLibrary) Friday, October 23, 6:00 p.m. through Thursday, October 29.

Eye Thrive Vision Screenings and Eye Exams

9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Eye Thrive will be providing free, on-site vision screenings, eye exams and prescription glasses to eligible children age four through 12th grade with a completed permission form signed by a parent/guardian. The initial vision screening identifies possible vision impairment, and will be offered from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Children that are identified as having possible vision concerns during this screening will then receive a full eye exam with an optometrist and receive prescription glasses, if needed, on-board the Mobile Vision Clinic from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Notaries will be available to notarize mail-in ballots for the November 3 election. Presented in partnership with the Jewish Community Relations Council of St. Louis and the National Council of Jewish Women, St. Louis.
