Immigrants are more likely to be entrepreneurs than native born Americans, but they are also more likely to be uninsured. Many immigrant entrepreneurs have difficulty getting affordable health coverage due to language barriers and challenges with income verification. In this presentation we will go over the different health coverage programs available, their eligibility guidelines and how to apply, followed by brief one-on-one screenings with an application counselor. Light refreshments. Registration appreciated but not required.
