The St. Louis County Department of Human Services County Older Resident Program (CORP) provides free assistance in preparation of income tax forms and property tax credit claims for St. Louis County residents, age 60+ and income of less than $54,000. Appointments are required. Call CORP at 314-615-4037 beginning January 23, 2017 to make an appointment.

Prepare to take the HiSET, the new High School Equivalency Test. Interested students first must attend four days of orientation. Please see library staff for orientation dates. For more information, call 314-367-5000.
These free classes, taught by Ritenour staff, help adult students obtain the skills necessary to earn a High School Equivalency Certificate (GED). Students must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with 16 high school credits and no longer attending high school. Students must provide documentation from previous school and attend a mandatory orientation. Call the Ritenour Adult Learning Center at (314)426-7900 to register.
Gentle, pain-free movements incorporate balance, flexibility and strength to prevent falls and improve health. This program series meets twice per week. No class on 2/19, 4/2 or 4/4.

Create and modify graphic elements, including: pictures, shapes, WordArt and clip art with Microsoft Word. Registration required.
In this educational, interactive class, participants will learn about eating more fruits and vegetables, increasing potassium to lower blood pressure and exercises for flexibility, balance and strength. Class meets once a week for 3 weeks. Class size is limited – advance registration is required and participants commit to attending all sessions. Presented by University of Missouri.
