By registering and participating in the Library’s virtual program, you understand that the video and audio content is streamed to other participants if your microphone or video camera are on. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s permission to participate and anyone age 9 or younger must have direct adult supervision for the duration of the program.

Learn the art of linocut printmaking in this workshop. Artists will learn how to carve a design into a sheet of linoleum, coat it with ink, and make prints. All experience levels are welcome! Adults and teens. Meeting room 1.
Eye Thrive will offer free eye exams and glasses at five SLCL locations this summer. Any child age 4-18 is eligible. Capacity is limited. Exams will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. A parental consent form must be completed prior to the eye exam.
Oasis tutors will provide one-on-one tutoring for students entering Kindergarten-3rd grade. Sessions will last 30 minutes and will focus on literacy and reading. The service is free. Please call 314-994-3300 to register. Registration required
The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis’ Student Advisors will be available to help recent high school graduates, as well as first-time and returning college students with finalizing their college enrollment plans. During drop-in hours, students can receive help with filing or correcting a FAFSA; completing financial aid verification paperwork; reviewing or comparing financial aid offers; and discussing affordability and options to cover any financial gaps.

Operation Food Search will provide free lunches to children at select SLCL locations this summer, Monday-Friday. Stop by and enjoy a nutritious lunch along with some activities for kids. Meals will be available free of charge for children ages 0-18. Groups, please contact hosting branch at least 24 hours prior to attending so that the proper amount of meals may be ordered.
