Ritenour High School Equivalency Classes (GED)

9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

These free classes, taught by Ritenour staff, help adult students obtain the skills necessary to earn a High School Equivalency Certificate (GED). Students must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with 16 high school credits and no longer attending high school. Students must provide documentation from previous school and attend a mandatory orientation. Call the Ritenour Adult Learning Center at (314)493-6412 to register.

Tai Chi for Arthritis for Fall Prevention, Part 1

Gentle, pain-free movements incorporate balance, flexibility and strength to prevent falls and improve health. This program series meets twice per week. No class on April 2nd and April 4th.

American Heart Association's Living Better With Life's Simple 7

Discusses a plan regarding blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood sugar, smoking status, healthy weight, physical activity, and healthy diet.Registration must be received at least 48 hours prior to the program. To register, call 314-994-3300 or visit www.agingmissouri.org. Following class, participants may enjoy lunch from St. Louis Bread Company. Suggested donation for lunch is $5.00 for those over age 60; cost of meal is $10 for those under 60.
