Reference by Mail

We coordinate with librarians at St. Louis Public Library and Maplewood Public Library to provide reference by mail for people who are incarcerated throughout Missouri. Reference by Mail letters request information ranging from pop culture to housing to job readiness tools, and our mailed replies help to fill urgent information needs within the carceral facilities. Letters are answered in the order they are received, and questions are answered in the order they are written.
