The Mobile Memory Lab is Coming to a Branch Near You!
The Memory Lab, located within the Emerson History & Genealogy Center at the Clark Family Branch, has seen overwhelming interest in its digitization services. To meet this demand, we are excited to announce the launch of the Mobile Memory Lab!
This innovative program brings the Memory Lab's valuable services directly to library branches, offering residents the opportunity to preserve their precious memories. The Mobile Memory Lab digitizes a wide range of media, including:
- 8mm film
- VHS tapes
- Audio cassette tapes
- Photographs
- MiniDV tapes
- 8mm video cassettes
- And more!
While the Mobile Memory Lab offers nearly all the same services as the main Memory Lab, personal history recording is not currently available in the mobile unit.

The Mobile Memory Lab will make its debut at the Daniel Boone Branch on February 26th from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. This is a one day only event, so don’t miss out! Users can now make appointments to digitize their legacy materials. Reserve your spot.
